SameYou

SameYou is a brain injury recovery charity working to change the way the world supports people after brain injury and stroke.

Founded by Emilia Clarke and her mother, Jenny Clarke MBE, following Emilia’s experience of surviving two life-threatening brain haemorrhages, SameYou was created to address the urgent need for better recovery care. One in three people will experience a brain injury in their lifetime—but many are left without the support they need to heal, recover, and return to the lives they had before.

SameYou works with world-leading clinicians, researchers, and health systems to pilot and scale innovative rehabilitation solutions that treat the whole person—not just the injury. These include virtual group therapy programmes run by NHS teams, peer-led emotional support, education and training for neuro-specialist nurses, and return-to-work guidance for younger survivors.

We believe that brain injury doesn’t just happen to the brain—it affects every part of who someone is. Our mission is to ensure that every survivor feels seen, supported, and empowered to reclaim their identity and future.
