"Located on the edge of coastal town, Weston-super-Mare, Broadway Lodge is one of the UK’s longest established and leading residential treatment centres for addiction that offers both medically-managed detoxification as well as comprehensive therapeutic treatment. Since 1974, our multidisciplinary team has helped over 16,000 people to begin their recovery journey from alcohol, illicit drugs, prescription medication, gambling, sex and gaming. Treatment is abstinence-based and compassion infused. Our team of nurses and health care assistants work 24/7 to ensure that clients are kept as safe and comfortable as possible during detox (if required) and that they have around the clock support for the duration of their stay.
Our therapeutic treatment programme is a psychological programme where clients work with qualified counsellors and their peers to really get to the underlying cause of the addiction and to address any other presenting issues so they can begin to heal and move forward. The programme nurtures emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing and we aim for clients to leave with hope for the future, positivity and increased self-worth, along with the tools to maintain their recovery for the long-term."
