"We are a small charity that works day and night, in Woking and across west Surrey, to help those with nowhere else to go.
Our aim is to defeat homelessness. In order to achieve this, we support people at every stage of their journey:
- people at risk of homelessness,
- people rough sleeping, and
- people who have previously been homeless but still need our help.
To defeat homelessness for good, we have to be a responsive, holistic and multi-faceted service.
Every day we are working to help people get off the street, navigate the complexity of the housing system, and find a secure, long-term home. We provide each one of our clients with:
- a Bed (including longer term accommodation for those who need more extensive support);
- a Base (our Resource Centre is a critical safe space in Woking); and
- our Backing (our support services are key to setting people up with a brighter future).
We can only provide this degree of comprehensive service thanks to charitable funding and generous donations from individuals.
