"Wakefield Hospice provides specialist palliative care to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across the Wakefield district. Since opening in 1990, we have supported thousands of patients, helping them live as comfortably and fully as possible, whether in the hospice or at home.
Our expert team of doctors, nurses, therapists, and volunteers offers not only medical care but also emotional, psychological, and spiritual support tailored to each individual. We also support families and carers, offering guidance and bereavement care before and after a loved one’s death.
