The Humane Research Trust is the largest charitable funder of animal-free medical research in the UK. Since 1961 we’ve been supporting scientists to find ways to replace the use of animals and animal-derived products, to make their research more effective and more ethical.
We fund research that uses entirely non-animal methods to advance human health. From cancer to neurology, cardiac health to drug development, we are proud to support cutting-edge science in a broad range of disease areas and fields.
Our goal is a future where no animals or animal products are used to research human health.
