Street Child

Street Child is a UK education and child welfare organisation working in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nepal. Since 2008 we have worked with over 30,000 street children and since last year, we have been at the forefront of the Ebola crisis providing care for over 50,000 Ebola-affected children including 12,000 Ebola orphans. At Street Child, we aim to empower children by providing and education opportunities and income generating initiatives to enable families in West Africa to build a sustainable future. We also seek out street-connected children and children who have been orphaned by Ebola and we resettle them within a family home and get them into school.
