Roundabout

Roundabout is South Yorkshire’s youth homelessness charity. We believe that every young person deserves a safe place to live, access to tailored support, and the opportunity to build a positive future.
Since 1977, we’ve supported thousands of young people across South Yorkshire and now work with over 400 individuals aged 16–25 every day. Each journey into homelessness is different. Some young people need short-term help to get back on track, while others have faced deep-rooted challenges, often stemming from trauma or family breakdown. Without the right support, these experiences can define their futures — but with Roundabout’s help, they don’t have to.
Our services provide stability, guidance and care at every stage of a young person’s journey — from emergency accommodation to long-term housing, life skills training and emotional support.
We know that change doesn’t happen overnight. But by walking alongside each young person, building trust, and helping them develop the confidence and skills to live independently, we can break the cycle of homelessness for good. At Roundabout, we help young people see a new route — one that may be challenging, but leads to independence, fulfilment, and a brighter, safer future.
