Rethink Mental Illness believes a better life is possible for the millions of people severely affected by mental Illness. For 40 years we have brought people together to support each other through our services, groups and campaigning. Today we directly support almost 60,000 people every year across England to get through crises, to live independently and to realise they are not alone. We change attitudes and policy for millions.
We have over 100 volunteer support groups in England and are in the process of encouraging the creation of more and hope this will help a large number of people that may otherwise be living in isolation.
Our supporters campaign nationally and locally to improve the lives of everyone living with mental illness. Together, we have pushed mental health up the public agenda and changed Government policy.
As an organisation we know that we can help more people and change attitudes towards mental illness. Help us to do this and sign up to an event today!
