The Positive Youth Foundation (PYF) is a Coventry-based charity supporting young people aged 8–25, particularly those facing challenging circumstances. We work across the city, especially in areas like St Michaels and Foleshill, some of the most deprived communities in the UK (top 10%), and extend our support regionally and nationally through youth sector advocacy.
Our mission is to help young people overcome adversity and unlock their full potential. We do this through frontline programmes focused on education, training, employment, healthy lifestyles, arts and culture, and support for young migrants. Whether through creative projects, mentoring, or sports sessions, we provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people can thrive.
Alongside our direct services, we help shape the wider youth sector by advising policymakers, funders, and local partners. We lead the Coventry Youth Partnership, bringing agencies together to better meet young people’s needs.
Run by people from the communities we serve, PYF stands side-by-side with young people on their journeys: helping them stay in education, find work, build confidence, and feel valued. Every donation supports this vital mission.
