We have been successfully helping people with cancer for over 35 years with our pioneering Bristol Whole Life Approach; a unique combination of physical and emotional support. As too many of us know, a cancer diagnosis can change everything. Anxiety, depression, unhealthy changes in weight, reduced physical fitness and fatigue are common side-effects of both cancer and it’s treatment.
Working alongside medical treatment, we show people how to live well with cancer and take back control of their health and wellbeing – before, during and after treatment. Our services include residential and non residential courses, support groups, nutrition and exercise advice, counselling, massage therapies, sessions with a doctor and meditation and stress management techniques. Our range of services are free of charge to adults with a cancer diagnosis and their supporters.
As a charity we rely on donations to fund our work, both at our National Centre and across the UK. Over 2million people are currently living with cancer in the UK – fundraise for Penny Brohn UK and help us be there for them. "
