FareShare Midlands is the largest food redistribution charity in the region, rescuing surplus food from the food industry to support 650+ charities and community groups. Last year, we redistributed over 5,000 tonnes of food - equivalent to 11 million meals - helping 60,000 people weekly.
More than just food redistribution, we empower individuals through SkillsShare training and work experience programmes, supporting over 700 people on their path to employment. Our charity members provide crucial services beyond meals, including financial guidance, mental health support and housing advice.
As an environmental charity with a social mission, FareShare Midlands tackles hunger, inequality and climate change by diverting good-quality food from waste to those in need.
