Ella Dawson Foundation

The Ella Dawson Foundation is a UK-wide charity enabling young adults aged 18 to 30, along with their families and carers, to access tailored psychological, emotional, physical, nutritional and wellbeing support at any stage of their cancer diagnosis within a safe, supportive and likeminded community.
Our mission is that every young adult diagnosed with cancer has the tools and support they need to live well and feel empowered. We work nationally to help young people and their families feel well, move well, eat well and live well with and beyond cancer. Our programmes of support help young people navigate the challenges of cancer and are often described as life-changing, with clinically significant outcomes that improve long-term wellbeing and transform young lives.
The Ella Dawson Foundation was created in memory of Ella Dawson, who died aged 24 from acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Despite excellent clinical care, Ella recognised that wellbeing support tailored to the unique needs of young people was lacking yet vital in helping them navigate treatment and live well despite their diagnosis. “I wanted to put out there something I was missing, to prove not all is lost when you are diagnosed with cancer.”
Your fundraising helps make a life-changing difference to young adults affected by cancer.
