East Kent Hospitals charity is the NHS charity for East Kent Hospitals University Foundation trust, otherwise known as EKHUFT. It is one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals serving a local population of around 759,000 people.
East Kent Hospitals Charity raises funds for the wards and services provided by EKHUFT. We are enormously grateful for any support we receive, whether it is a financial donation, helping to raise awareness of our work, planning a fundraising event
Your support will help us to:
• Fund vital medical research and training that will benefit present & future patients
• Provide specialist equipment at the cutting edge of technology to treat and diagnose patients quickly and accurately
• Improve patient and staff facilities and environment
• Support staff & patient wellbeing Why doesn’t the NHS provide this stuff?
All public healthcare services are funded from central government taxes, while our trust provides a high level of service to our patients due to this funding, we are always looking to enhance patient care and wellbeing. Think of us as adding the ‘bells & whistles’ to the standard NHS service.
