Olympic Velodrome London

Look no further if you fancy your hand at cycling around one of the most Iconic stadiums from the London 2012 Olympics. Lee Valley Velopark in Stratford, the home of the iconic Olympic Games velodrome, is very much open to the public, meaning you too can pedal around the polished boards that saw Olympic dreams turn to gold for Great Britain.

The velodrome with it’s 250 metre track is just one part of four cycling disciplines included in the Velopark. There is also the spectacular BMX track that has been adapted from the tough Olympic course to become challenging yet accessible course for any BMX rider to take on, from beginner to expert. New additions include a one-mile road track for racing, great for testing yourself and mountain bike trails stretching for 5 miles taking in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and with links to cycle routes further afield for longer rides.

There really is something for everyone, making this new venue a great day out for the family, a different place to get some training in for your cycle for charity event, or somewhere to try out a different type of cycling to break you out of your comfort zone and try something new.
